Some feel that stopping teens from visiting the tanning salons will only make them sun bake to get that summer glow. We feel this legislation would be a step in the right direction to help educate teenagers about the harmful risks associated with overexposure to the sun or by fake baking in tanning salons. Our business was designed exclusively for this reason to help people achieve a natural looking tan by airbrush with no risks involved. Our organic solutions help people with their bronze without using any harmful chemicals or bulbs.
Melonoma is the most deadly form of skin cancer and kills over 8,500 people each year. Spray tanning or airbrush tanning is the only safe way to achieve a tan and we want to kids and adults to understand that skin cancer is very serious.
Rogerio Nevel, director of the Penn State Cancer Institute's Skin Oncology Program, said spray-on tanner is a safe alternative to tanning under the sun or in a tanning bed, because the spray tans only interact with the surface layer of the skin, which is mostly dead cells.
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States and between 40 and 50 percent of Americans who live to age 65 will have develop skin cancer at least once. Melanoma accounts for over 8,500 deaths each year so do yourself a favor and protect your skin.
This is a good peice of legislature if they can get it to pass. The sooner we educate teens about the harmful affects of UV rays and fake baking in tanning beds the sooner they will look to alternative ways to acheive a golden bronze. Spray tanning is the perfect solution to get tan without harming your skin plus a spray tan will last longer than a session in the tanning bed.
