The majority of the time we would advice our clients to book a spray tan 2-3 days before a big event or wedding. Our experience tells us that this is the time frame where the sunless tan has fully developed into a beautiful, golden brown. View some of our clientsspray tan results. This would give you enough time for your first rinse and research also shows that the tan is still developing after your first rinse so 2-3 days is the perfect amount of time.
A typical spray tan can last anywhere from 7-9 days, sometimes longer. We have discussed this in previous posts that is depends on how you care for your tan but a good rule of thumb is that your tan will last between 7-9 days. It's very important to note that after each shower and as the days go on the tan will fade. You don't want to schedule your spray tan too far in advance for the fact that after four days the tan will certainly be less vibrant than the previous three days after you get a spray tan.
So when you have a big event planned and you know you want a spray tan, be sure to contact us to schedule your appointment to make sure you get your requested time and date. During the wedding months of Spring and Summer we book up very fast so do yourself a favor and make sure to contact us as soon as you know your date. If you get sprayed 2-3 days before your event you will get the most out of your tan and will definitely turn heads at your special event!
